Each year for the last 49 years, BSF has assisted families with the cost of independent schooling. This support encourages  families who believe that independent schooling is beyond their reach. This support eases financial responsibilities for families attending independent schools.  This support is also a honor for students and families.

Support for BSF scholarship dollars is broad based with donations from institutions and individuals.

Two examples of the achievement of BSF Scholars are below:

2013BSFAKeelsAllante Keel is a 21st century renaissance man. Allante is scholar, leader, mentor and athlete. Allante was an A student in elementary school when his mother began the family relationship with BSF. ‘Allante was a smart boy with great potential and BSF helped me realize his potential. BSF helped me find the right schools, BSF helped me finance his middle and high school education and BSF supported Allante at every step,’ remarked Allante’s Mother. Allante completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Spring 2013 and matriculated to the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in the Fall of 2013. As an undergraduate Allante competed in track and football; and served as a mentor and member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society. He is a 2009 graduate of Episcopal High School and in the summer of 2013 worked for the global law firm, Jones Day.
